Uganda has had to reinstate lock-down for a 2nd time in 1 year due to the significant rise in Covid cases, specifically with the new Indian variant. The lock down is set for 42 days until further notice aiming to reduce the high rising cases, particularly among younger people. Schools will be closed as well as public transport and also bars, nightclubs, and restaurants, church gatherings are included on the banned list. Uganda 2021 Trip Cancelled My family trip was cancelled which was set to take place in July, however, due to Uganda on the UK Travel Amber list, the financial costs of covid tests, plus there were rumors that the government was going to put another lock down in place so we had to cancel immediately, I hope we can travel to Uganda in 2022.
