I have always wanted to travel to the south of Italy, so I manifested it. My last trip was a city break in Madrid for a weekend which was a decent getaway, however a lot of European cities look very similar so there was not much of a different cultural experience, the popular fast food and designer shop brands as well as fancy bars nothing new!
My friend and I longed to be surrounded by nature and beautiful views, ITALY provided that for us! Capri, Sorrento, Positano, Pompeii and so forth.
Coincidentally when my regular travel buddy wanted to travel to Italy, I did inform her that I heard awful reviews about Naples from the Mafia to pickpockets to unattractive old buildings, therefore, we should not go, however, we decided to ignore the bad reviews and just went for it.I work in a dangerous place, I live in London which consists of good and bad parts from knife crime, as well as some of the world’s most beautiful properties and neighborhoods. The trip was phenomenal it exceeded our expectations!!!
Sorrento and Capri, Positano are very expensive to stay in, so we opted for Naples city, which is only a 10/15 minute car ride from the airport, 1 hour to Sorrento by train, and Capri 50 minute on the ferry. I follow several travel bloggers on social media so it caused me to fall in love with Capri, Sorrento, and Positano which are very popular destinations, with the most spectacular views I have ever laid eyes on.
Please do your research and make sure that you book a hotel in a safe part of Naples and do be aware of pickpockets as well, just like any other major big city do not be naive.
Have you been to Naples before?
