What is Slang?

"A type of language consisting of words and phrases that are regarded as very informal, are more common in speech than writing, and are typically restricted to a particular context or group of people."
Do you have a hard time understanding UK Enlish slang? well, you are not alone there are slang words that I have not heard since I was a teenager which many people still use today not just young people.
I constantly hear new slang words and I have no clue what they mean haha. Not all English langauge slang is the same, for instance alot of American Slang is different from UK slang.
